Chelsea will be reading pieces from her latest book ALAS and possibly sharing some new material she's been working on. Doors for the event will open at 4:30 PM and CMK will be performing at 5:00 PM. Crum recently teamed up with Maame Addae to create this visual for a Film Maker's Mixtape challenge. The video features a monologue from Crum, unreleased music by NLP, shots from various locations where Maame can be spotted, and obviously glass. Lihn Tran, Ruby Que, Glenn Sonnie Wooden, and Michael David Thomas will also be doing screenings for their new releases at this event. Our girl CMK, the Atlanta native and Brooklyn resident also known as Chelsea Monique Kilpatrick, recently sat down with My Way, Jonilda's Blog to discuss her debut book titled ALAS: A Poetry Collection. The two conversed about mental health, Chelsea's influences for the book, womanhood, and a range of other topics.

NLP has been working with Slice Media to come up with a series of videos promoting his latest EP. For the second installment, they came up with an animation-based visualizer focusing one of the more laid-back tracks off of his recent project.
